Pop-O-Rama { Blueberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles }

Who doesn’t LOVE a homemade popsicle in the hot summer?

Today’s featured popsicle is the Blueberry Greek Yogurt Popsicle!

Blueberry Greek Yogurt Popsicles

Ingredients:

1 Container (17.6 oz) Fage 0% Greek Yogurt ( I use 0% to cut fat)

1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries

1/4 cup honey (more or less to taste)

Tools:

A blender

Popsicle maker

1. Place all ingredients into a blender or a bowl (if you are using an immersion Blender – my favorite kitchen tool!!

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Fill your popsicle maker with the yummy yogurt mixture and let it freeze!

4. Enjoy!

A few notes:

I use a Zoku Quick Pop Machine and I love it!  We keep ours in the freezer during the summer and when I want to make pops I just pull it out and throw in some juice, pureed fruits or pudding and in 7 minutes we have homemade pops!  It’s so easy and the kids love watching the pops come out in minutes!

If you’ve never tried Greek yogurt before, give it a shot. I prefer to use Fage plain 0% greek yogurt to cut down on fat and sugar. I usually add my own strawberries and honey or agave nectar to sweeten.  I started using Greek yogurt because it has a higher protein content than other yogurts and it’s super rich and creamy!! Disclosure: This post was NOT sponsored by Zoku or Fage – I just luv them both!  If they would like to sponsor this series of posts they can always contact me. I’d be more than happy to work with them!

Okay so question, I’m not a big fan of the greek yogurt. It just doesn’t sit well with me. But this looks amazing and now I want to try it! lol Can you tell me if you can tell that it is the greek yogurt if I didn’t tell my hubby? ;)
