As I began setting goals for 2010 I decided to take a look back over the last few months to see what worked and what didn’t work.
One thing I noticed was that when I actually planned my weekly menus; when I posted them on this blog, I saved time, frustration and money. So, that made it easy – menu planning was on the list – the list of things that work, things that I need to commit to doing better in 2010.
So here is my first meal plan for 2010: (don’t get too excited, this weeks menu is super lame…)
Monday: Hamburgers with homemade french fries and salad (exciting way to start, huh?)
Tuesday: Stuffed Chicken Breasts w/ mixed veggies and baked potato and Salad
Wednesday: Tomato Basil Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
Thursday: Shepard’s Pie
Friday: Homemade Pizza night
Saturday: Clean out the Fridge Night
Sunday: Lasagna w/ Salad
Can you say, B O R I N G !! Well, at least I know that I won’t get any negative responces to this weeks menu. I think Kevin will be glad that I’m not trying some new-found exotic recipe for once!

I think your “boring” menu sounds wonderful!
I agree! Nothing sounds boring, it all sounds yummy. Especially the tomato basil soup, yum, I might need to ask for that recipe, once I start cooking again. Love your blog donna. I also keep one, I haven’t been too good at updating it, but here is the address http://www.jennysen.blogspot.com/
And I think it is kinda funny, my blog’s name is “A New Season” started when I went on bedrest over 3 years ago with aliana. I thought it was fitting as it was new territory I had never chartered before
